I agree w/ BruceLee, follow his advice. But, FYI, a new (newly reconditioned) engine can be had from Porsche for under $5k w/ warranty. Instead of buying a Warranty, which would almost certainly cost you $100-$150/mo., put the same amount aside every month in a separate bank account. This way, you will be essentially providing your own Warranty, avoid the mark-up, and in very little time, you'll have the funds necessary to do the repair if needed, but if you've gone 37k mi. without it, your odds of having one of the good Blocks is rising exponentially. Most (but unfortunately not all) RMS Failures are seen well before this.

BTW, there is a DIY procedure for replacing the RMS in situ. If you are confident enough to tackle the Clutch, this procedure is surely within your capability. Hope this helps...
