I'll post again as I'm approaching 105k miles now.
2.5l 1999 boxster, daily driver bought 5 yrs ago with about 60k on the clock.
Recent(ish) required work includes
- new ignition switch
- new MAF (due to Check Engine Light coming back on, though I got about 30k additional miles out of the old MAF by cleaning it)
- new coolant tank
- new starter motor assembly (starter woudn't disengage cleanly and made nasty noise after starting)
- new clutch + flywheel
Never touched or looked at the RMS, but I don't know about the previous owners.
Proud to make it past 100k
