I installed the Stealth HID kit from Pelican with the 6000K bulbs.
Requires no special work except for drilling a 1" hole in the back plastic panel for each unit. I was a initially somewhat reluctant about drilling holes in anything, but honestly it's not a big deal. The hole is required because the ballast is mounted outside of the lighting unit. I did the entire job from start to finish in 45 minutes.
Just make sure you have a drill handy and a 1" wide bit.
The appearance is fantastic: the lights look better when looking at the vehicle, and the way it lights up the road is awesome too.
For $120, it was the best upgrade value possible.
