I want to do this with a carbon fiber weave pattern fabric. I've seen it on imported motorcyle seat covers. Seems like it would hide scratches better and give an upgraded look.

Thinking about doing the the back and sides of my GT3 seats too. They get a little scratched from tossing things behind the seats. The wiper trim outside might be a good spot too along with the window molding around the soft top, the air intake covers, etc.
