There is a lot of media "hype" about the economy. The reality as I see it is that unless you're one of the few percent who lost your job (no small unless) or have had some other catastrophic issue in your life, nothing has changed. There is no rampant inflation, the malls are full, restaurants are teeming with patrons and everything continues as normal unless again you've lost your job.

Most of us, over 90 percent, are just as we have been for years. In fact by business is up over 20% each year for the past 4 years. There are too many people with serious issues in their lives, but the majority of folks are the same as they were 5,4 or three years ago.

I believe the key is - don't owe, don't borrow, don't speculate and don't spend more than you make. Do that and all will be well.
