I find them to be comfortable because it keeps me from slouching since they don't recline. I only intended to keep them in during the summer for autocross and track season but ended up keeping them in year round. Either way removing them is a breeze. You can do one side in 15 minutes taking your time. The downside is parking, turning your neck to look over the opposite side of the car is difficult because your shoulders are pinned back. The other issue is getting out of the seat. Passengers, namely females, always whinge about it. And if you're carrying a few extra pounds around the wasit these seats can be a real pain to get out of. I always find it amusing when a not-so in shape a parking attendant pulls up with the car and I have to help him out of the car because he can't lift himself out.

Wiring is easy. If you have an OBD II scanner like the Actron you can just erase any CEL light that may go off.
