I have a similar story. While I was waiting for my Audi TT 20K service and happen to wander over to the Certified Porsche showroom at Champion Porsche-Audi just to "look" anyway - I drove out with a pristine perfect '03 Boxster with 12K and two years left on the manufactureres warantee in addtion to the Certified warrantee/left the TT in trade/and $140 for the TT 20K service!!!!!!! I also had a great experience with my salesman and the dealership - both of whom went beyond what's expected when purchasing a car- Champion claims to be the largest Porsche dealership in the world and is a "Porsche Heaven" - last year while waiting for my TT I watched a Carrera GT being delivered. I did suffer a few hours of buyers remorse - but got over that quick enough when I took it on I95 for the first time!
