Can we have some input from the experts? Jake Raby, Mike focke or Predro (that's all the name that I can think of) and of course other Porsche engineers?

Some said it can be Cosmoline protection? , but should it be gone after a year or two. Mine is a MY06 and yes I do have that burnt smell too.
