The first time I pulled the dipstick out on my '99, I figured the bottom of the sump must be somewhere just behind the front license plate. Anything that long and whippy couldn't possibly accurately measure the contents of an oil tank.
I figure in the next iteration of the Boxster, the oil filler and the coolant filler will both disappear, requiring a visit to the dealer to add either.
