I have similar issues. I just paid to have a wheel "trued". It was out of round. Makes a wobble/vibration similar to an out of balance condition.

My car isn't rolling 100% smooth yet, but my wheels are true and I have new tires that are expertly balanced. I may need to look at a wheel bearing next.

Good luck with your situation. It's a minor thing, but it can be maddening...
