As long as the other car is less than 48" tall, no problem. What I did was place the MaxJax further inside my garage, my garage is 27 ' deep, that way even if the second car was taller than 48", I could pull it up to almost the top of the windshield and still get both cars in the slot in the garage. In the winter, I will have the Boxster Spyder on the lift and the STI (daily driver) pull up under the spyder.
PS - that assumes you have the ceiling height to put the first car all the way up.
