I would definitely use it... I have glass, so no need for the plastic chop, and while it's not a huge issue, it is an inconvenience to have to hold the button for the 12 or so seconds... Compared to all of the cool gadgetry in the more modern cars that I've been driving, such as the touch-open entry on the BMW and Lexus that doesn't require even using the remote fob or keys to unlock the doors (just unlocks or locks when you touch the handle, so long as your remote fob is in your pocket or vicinity), and push-botton ignition without having to reach for your keys, it makes small things like having to hold your arms stretched out and holding the convertible top button down for 12 seconds seem antiquated...

Please let me know if you are designing a cheaper alternative to the smarttop..
