When the top is about 15% away from being closed and the clam shell begins narrowing down, I notice that the top is not retracting evenly. The driver's side is a bit higher. The clam shell will push the top closed then will stick up about an inch or 2, won't close all the way. I noticed a small tear developing in the top behind the driver's seat. Is there a way to adjust this? If I had to guess the cable just loosened up from the motor and needs tightened... but that is just a guess.

Check the push rods perhaps a bolt got loose. They have the white or red caps on them.
