Tires are worn out on 987 with 17's. Tire Rack online revealed only 7 tires models available due to the staggered 205/55 and 235/50s sizes recommended.

I don't want to pay big $ for new tires from Conti or Michelin and really like Sumitomo HTR III's. Can I put those on my Boxster using slightly different sizes than recommended?
