this is the Calibre K40 hidden front and rear radar and laser detector and laser defusers (cancels out the laser being pointed at you to make it ineffective.

I had it removed from my car (along with lots of other stuff) in the process of turning the car into a dedicated track car.
For street driving, radar / laser systems are invaluable and this system works incredibly well and is intended to not only make your car invisible to radar and laser, but also to be installed so that no one will ever know it's there.

The system includes:

- Series 2000 controller with settings for sensitivity and running front and rear systems separately or together
- 2 super wide range radar detection units
- 2 laser detection and jamming units
- 1 license plate frame insert for mounting a laser unit
- 1 speaker
- the two proprietary connectors for the radar units
- all the original paperwork, owner's manual, warranty card, etc

The only thing you'd need is some standard wire to connect the units since I've included the connectors and an hour or so to wire it up.

You can also buy small led lights from Calibre that connect directly to the controller if you wanted to have visual alerts in addition to the audible alerts provided by the speaker.
