That price is without taxes of 13%. Apparently it includes other 'checks'???? I picked up Mobil-1 0W40 at Canadian Tire last week on sale for $7.79 litre and OEM Mahle filter ($13.65CDN) from Autopartsway.ca (free shipping in canada over $75) and will be changing my own tomorrow. The dealer cost seems way out of line. BTW...has anyone tried Mobil-1 5W40? My brother-in-law is coming up from the States and can get 5 quart Mobil1 5W40 for $22 a jug at Wal-Mart with no tax in New Hampshire. In our owners manual, it lists this weight as acceptable, see below:

generally above -13°F (-25°C ) SAE 0W-40, 5W-40, 5W-50 approved by Porsche
generally below -13°F (-25°C ) SAE 0W-40 approved by Porsche

I don't understand why, even in Texas(where my car is from), they use 0W40? It's harder to find, costlier and the temp. usually isn't below -25C...even in Canada! Anyone?????????
