I made a deal on a 2005 Boxster last week and asked the dealer to install an airbag deactivation kit before I took delivery. Apparently the kit for the '05 model is different from the one used in prior years (it's just a key activated switch now, it's no longer integrated with the child safety seat). Dealer is having major problems with the installation and now tells me they need to order a new computer part and that it will be several weeks before I can have the car. Does anyone have experience having this kit installed on a 2005?
