Actually, I'm not sure I agree with the motorweek guys.

The factory repair manual specifically warns against using any kind of grease or lubricant on any of the seals or teflon bushings.

The only place where lubrication is recommended, and the only time it is recommended, is when assembling the top and then only to apply a touch of assembly grease to the pins securing the various bows.

I can see where using a spray lubricant could actually be bad for the joints and increase potential wear.
