I agree with commercial storage. You have time to study up on prepping for storage. Some storage garages will start your car periodically if you want. Not recommended if you've done good prep.

Some allow battery maintainers. Recommended. If not, take battery home and put it on a maintainer in garage. Not a trickle charger.

Fresh oil, fuel maintainer like StaBil, etc. Trust me it has been well covered. There are differences of opinion, so know enuf to make intelligent choices.

Jack stands not recommended by Porsche.

And another thing that has been well covered. M96 engine problems have been beaten to death. Early engines (2.5s normally) had several problems and Porsche generally replaced them. Tiptronics had fewer. Later engines driven enthusiastically have been pretty much better. Many people have never had a problem.

Meteors kill some people, but you cannot spend life in a bomb shelter. If you love the car, buy it and enjoy it.
