no real extensive DIY necessary...

- put top into service position and remove engine cover (and speaker box, carpeting, etc.)
- release wire connector from top side of MAF
- using (T-20 IIRC) torx security bit, remove two screws holding in MAF
- pull up on MAF to extract

At this point, you can either try and clean your existing MAF w/ QD Electronic parts cleaner or just replace. Reverse directions to install.
