I put the Yoko S drives on my car in the Fall and they're excellent tires. The roads in Oklahoma are terrible, always construction, large potholes, poor surface conditions, etc. They've been excellent to me. My only comparison on the Boxster would be the extremely poor tires that were on it when I bought it, Hankook Ventus. Night and day difference. The Yoko's don't produce much road noise and the tire wear is excellent.
