We have made our own version of the X 51 oil pan and almost have it ready to market, its being tested next week for the final time... All these are DIY components that make the engine more resilient to starvation that leads to most all track failures.

Overfilling can cause other issues and reduces performance due to windage.
Please let us know when it is available and how much. Is this something we can do next time we change the oil? I know that we have to drop the oil pan, but I am wondering how much is involved. On the 968 for instance (and yes it is a front engined car...), you have to take out the steering rack, remove the sways, undo the motor mounts, take off the front suspension pick-up points, take out the engine brace (and brace the engine from above...). It is a lot of work to get to the oil pan.
