The nice thing about FB is that you can simply click the "ignore" button and the other person will never know you did it and will probably assume you don't log into your FB account much if at all.
I clicked "ignore" on this guy and I've done it to a couple of other people I used to know... one was an old flame I have no reason to connect with any longer (happily married for 22 years and fighting hard to keep it that way).
Ah, personal boundaries. It's great to have them and use them online as well as offline.

I'm glad to know that they don't know if you hit ignore. It hasn't gotten bad yet, but what I liked about facebook is I didn't have just random people just adding me like on MySpace, and thankfully I haven't gotten any "hey baby u r sexy" messages yet on facebook either. It seems a little more "real." I am getting a couple here and there though that I'm like who is this person? They seem to have no common interests and I have no clue where they found me. One guy's profile isn't even in English, in fact, isn't even in the same alphabet. It's farsi or something.
