Here's one discouraging thing I found out about the Maserati's... although parts are cheaper than a Ferrari and you can do yourself a HUGE favor in buying a manual versus the F1 transmission there are still some issues.
#1 - Just try to find a manual. There are only like 2 out of 50 under $40K on Autotrader.
#2 - Parts can still be just silly expensive. When you do go to change the clutch on the manual you'll probably want to put in a throw out bearing. Price on our Boxster from Pelican Parts? $22 Price from a discounted Maserati parts dealer for a Coupe? $475 Just the clutch is 6X the Boxster price too. Crazy man... At least it's better than the F1 transmission that HAS to be done at a dealer for ~$3,500
