rattling noise from rear

It is most likely that the noise is a defunct oil pressure valve. Still, the noise is at it most - and heavy - at the bottom of the crankcase. The oilpump is at the top. But it is certainly not a big end or one of the main bearings.
In the mean time I renewed the chaintensioner but to no avail. The noise is still there. I phoned the Porsche importers and they want the car at their workshop to investigate the noise. So, I'll bring the car to them to be sure. At least they should know by now about the possibility of a defunct OPV.
