Jim's right, you really should just fix the horn plate. It is a safety feature you really want to have working. No matter how good of a driver you are, when you least expect it......... you know the rest

Anyhow, if you're short $ to replace the entire plate, you can always do the DIY fix and repair the worn bushings w/ either small o-rings from a hardware store, black silicone, or even a small piece of rubber hose.
