Heck, I could buy a 2006-2007 (soon a 2008) Carrera S for about the same money, and get a warranty. This is actually an option for me, but I really want the old body style, air cooled engine and turbo power.

But, the potential costs involved with a +12 year old Porsche is very daunting.

That's the funny thing about 993's. The nice ones are selling for the same as 996 turbo. MMmmm..280hp or 415hp? Is the 993 worth it????
