What do you think about plasma sets?
Jorge: I'm really interested in buying a 42" plasma set, but am wondering if the picture quality will be significantly better than my current 36" Sony WEGA/XBR. I use my TV almost exclusively for DVD viewing. The rest of the time my five kids are watching Rug Rats and other similar cartoons. I don't have satellite or even movie channels. I would rather rent the occassional DVD I really want to watch (or that my wife wants to watch more accurately). So, is the $4,000 or more a good expenditure or just a fashion statement.
