I have been to Don Wise's shop before. Thought the shop only worked on air cooled engines. But most of the local independent shops are catching up to the 986/996.
The new independent shop in town in RennShop in Santa Clara owned by Marvin Weitz. He worked for Stevens Creek Porsche and Carlsen before opening his own shop a few months ago.
