Not too common on newer 987's from what I haven't seen or read here on the forum.

I bet the dealer will have it fixed in one day when they get the part to replace it.

Just drop to your knees and thank God you have a warranty. The top assembly parts and repair costs can easily surpass the cost of a new engine in, say, a Toyota Camry.

One guy totally screwed up his top by running it when something snapped and it cost him $2,300.00
