I just want to find a regimen that is simple and easy. I know it will take some time to do it right but I want to find and stick to a method that works well with little fuss.

The funniest part is I thought we were having fun...
I am not an "expert" at this at all. There are definitely folks on this forum who are much more experienced at detailing. I am just a novice who did my research and had some initial success.
I do recommend a random orbit buffer for a polish, its much easier to use than you think & it really makes a difference. Definitely clay first. Zaino has a system that is easy enough to use once you study it a little (my link will give you the basics). I am happy with the results and feel I got my money's worth (both actual and time invested). Good luck with your efforts and post pictures when your done!
