I do know that Low RPM Hesitation in my old 1965 Porsche 912 was caused my a leaky exhaust system... It also had a boxer 4 cyclindar engine. Once i replaced the exhaust gaskets and tightened up the clamps, the hesitation went away. Might want to check for exhuast leaks.
