Thanks for the cleaning tip - I presume the issue with the Noah is then more about the machine action damaging the cover than something to do with the soapy water, etc. Of course it makes sense that the cover could withstand the water itself, considering that it it is designed for that!
Yeah, I would have just gone for a cotton felt cover for inside, but I started with the idea that I'd use the cover also when on trips or in the lot at work. Somehow I got cured of that idea pretty quickly...
