Hmmm, not typical of a rear track arm failure, Usually the track arm will make more sound as the day and bearing cartridge warm up and is quieter when cold.... my thought is that nylon bushing within the cartridge softens up when temps around it increases... remember the exhaust manifolds are very close to the bearing cartridge.
