Second from the top is a photo looking through the bulb access hole onto the amber filter which at that point was partially removed. The soldering iron method went okay, albeit slow. A larger tip probably would have made the job easier but I typically solder small components and used what I had. I did have a problem with the reflectors which is documented here. Will be looking at that again later today.
