The difference in torque between the 3.4 and 3.6 is surprising. I am planning a 3.6 for my S at some point, or if I can find one for a reasonable price, I'd love a 3.8.

For the Boxsters, generally as far as I know, 2.5 guys swap for a 3.4, and 2.7 or 3.2 guys swap for the 3.6 as th e-gas/ non e-gas motors and harness line up that way.
