Hey all. I've slowly been noticing a creak develop in my 986. I don't know when it started, it's really only when the car is twisted by uneven pavement. It's kinda subtle, but it's like this twisting of plastic sound that's starting to annoy me. It seems locallized right under the dash, in the driver footwell, right around the center console.

Has anyone ever taken apart the center console, like down to the frame? I'm thinking of just taking off everything and tightening all the bolts/connectors down/applying any grease where necessary. Maybe look under the steering wheel as well, just to see if something is loose.
