Has anyone experienced this and if so, how did you remedy it?

2002 986. When I make a quick 90 degree turn in a neighborhood intersection at 25 mph or so, I don't hear my radio for a split second when tuned to an am station. The radio does not turn off, it's just silent for that short period of time. This does not happen when listening to an fm station.
