I agree with, "if you want a Cayman, buy a Cayman", in fact, I have no need for a hardtop... that's why I bought a ragtop.

Mine is a daily driver, 70/30 top down.
As far as the two tone, I believe that pic is designed to delineate the top / car for marketing purposes. Also, apparently, you don't lose the trunk, it replaces the existing deck lid with hatch back access to the trunk. That said, the swap appears to be a rather more involved than; lower top > set hard top on > tighten spin locks.
