Well went to the dealer and bought my new cap. New is blue and old is blue, if you have black, it might not be OE. Heres a picture of the old and new. I noticed after i placed the new one on that in 88 degree weather, it took alot longer for the water temp gauge needle to reach the middle of the 0 in stand still traffic.

Can someone tell me the actual benifits of having the new cap so that im not tripping bawls on a placibo effect?
