Does anyone know if those same offsets will work with the .5" wider wheels? I'll be using 235/40 up front, and 275/35 out back.

Thanks for any help.
You don't NEED 18x9's for 235/40 or 18x11's for 275/35. And compared to the .5 inch narrower standard Carrera sizes they are much less common, so it is possible NO ONE has tried this combo on a Boxster.

Having briefly run a 265/35 on 18x9's up front, and with multiple successful reports of 245/40s up front, your front sizes will fit.

My gut feeling is 18x11 rear is too wide. It might fit, but you don't need it for a 275/35. Unless your engine puts out GT3 torque, you aren't going to need anything wider than 275 or 285 in the rear, so an 18x11 is a fashion statement with a performance cost due to extra weight and with the potential for rubbing suspension and wheel well parts.

If you still want an 18x11 in the rear, you will probably be able to find some combination of spacer and bodywork that will work for cruising on freeways and parking at fashionable restaurants. IMO opinion , the 18x11 will be a liability on the track or canyon carving.
