You should still do a quick self-test on the radiator fans. While the car is idling at full temp and the AC is on full blast (as cold as you can make it) set the parking brake and walk around the front of the car.
Put your hand under your bumper just in front of both tires and you should feel hot air blowing and hear it as well. If you are not feeling and hearing both fans blowing, one has gone out... and it's probably the primary which is located on the driver's side.
If both are blowing, not to worry!
