curious to know

What would a stock Boxster S put down at the wheels?
Is there a lot of loss due to tranny?
I'm curious because my experience to this point has been North American products.
Anybody know?

It depends on the dyno and it's calibration to give accurate numbers, but conventional wisdom says 12-15% drivetrain loss, so 213-220 hp at the wheels.

I have a dyno in the Pomona, Ca area. A dynapack unit, that does not require strapping of your car and the repeatability and precision is superb.

More info is on my site, or PM for details:

I finally have it. At the wheels (red: bone stock; violet: desnorked):

At the crank (with a 17% drivetrain loss):

Enjoy.
