You know - I'll side just a bit with Z... If I had the choice, I'd do these moves in my buddies ride more then in my own.
But I guess that I was born with a little PWT blood, cause nothing makes me giggle more then seeing a crazy Brit turn 360s top down in a M Roadster. There just isn't any better television then this.

lol...yeah and I like how he is just casually talking and looking to the camera when he's doing the moves. Most people would be hanging on for dear life but not Tiff!

HA! No doubt. I've never seen a fella so calm as his car flips round and round. This guy is freaking nutz - he's got to be the coolest Brit I've ever seen. Only thing that would make him better would be a crazy Austrian accent.

In conclusion, all the giddy responses about sliding videos like this only confirm that "cool" trumps substance, and that corporations will always choose "cool" to sell more of their stuff -- especially when "cool" directly contributes to more sales, like tires in this case.
Imagine Tiff, wearing a helmet (like he should), paying attention to the track (like he should), holding the wheel with both hands (like he should), and driving to maximize the abilities of the high-performance car he is driving (i.e. minimize showy sliding) -- then he would be much faster and safer (while promoting proper technique for maximum speed and safety to the audience) BUT he would be much less "cool" and have a much smaller audience. And that doesn't sell well.
Personally, I buy high-performance gear (car, skis, etc) to use it the way it was meant to be used. If I wanted my skis and cars to slide, I would buy the crappiest gear and slide my ass off for a fraction of the money and at a fraction of the speed. But that's me.

I wouldn't be so fast to say that "cool" trumps substance - there is certainly some substance in being a driver so talented at the wheel, that you can safely flip 360s in a high performance ride.
And yes - this video was designed to sell tires. So what? If you ran a company that sold tires, wouldn't you try to increase sales by promoting "cool?" If I were a stock holder in your company, I sure as hell would hope you would.
I do want to add that the last thing this video makes me want to do is burn up my tires in my Box. I enjoy the performance driving more - personal preference. But this is great tv.
