$3800 fir the Pinto? That makes the $4500 I paid for my Boxster seem like an even better deal! Although it must be said that my 986 doesn't have woodgrain sides, a vinyl roof, or white sidewalls. But it is 10 seconds quicker to 60 mph, so at least it's quicker!

Yeah......Talk to us in 46 years....

BTW, Burg.....We were doing our best in the late 70's perfecting the Rockford spins behind the grocery store we all worked at lol.

I bought my first new car in 1974. (Before that were used cars)
I got a VW Rabbit.
Good friend of mine got a Vega - you could watch it rust and the engine ate itself from inside. He would curse regularly "Car of the year, they said! Car of the year!"

As crappy as they were, I always though that the Vega was a really good-looking car.

Given the full '80's pro-street treatment, they looked like a baby Camaro
