Wild Horse Pass West Track

Was out at WHP west track this past Sunday with PCA Arizona and it was a blast! The weather was perfect and I set a personal best time of 1:10 on session #3 with the DE3 group. This is a 1.1 mile short and very technical track with just one straightaway. Good for wearing out tires

Here's the video. I tried zooming in on the oil pressure and temp gauges, but the resolution is not very good. You can still see the Accusump light when it activates.

Next week I should be installing my AutosportLabs RaceCapture Track and AnalogX module so I can wire up and log the oil pressure and temp, as well as the Accusump air pressure and maybe even the actual brake pressure (or I could do the Accusump oil pressure after the filter but before the cooler). I'll be at AMP on Dec. 16th with Pro Autosports.

Great video! My wife and I did the 3 day Bondurant HPD class in Feb 2015. Great facility and great weather in Feb. We had to use the short version of the Bondurant track w/o the carousel because the drag strip was in use. On our last day my wife went off in turn 11 and shredded a tire. Quick tire change and car once over and she was back on the track.

In three days we burned through nearly two sets of tires each (excluding the farming expedition tire). So cool to show up every day with the cars freshly prepped and ready to go.

Great vacation, lots of super memories for both of us. I’m one of the luckiest guys in the world.
