Not a Boxster... but some inspired driving at the Ring!

wow... the view of the car going down that bumpy track at speed is humbling.

The return of the Yellowbird ....

I wonder how fast that car could have been with a real driver. Sure those drifts looked sweet, but after playing gran turismo a million times I could always imagine the "ghost" creepin by when he got that tail out.

You know, I am reading this book, Speed Secrets 6: The Perfect Driver ... and the author, Ross Bentley, says that a truely fast driver is OVER the limit on occassion and at the limit the rest of the time.

His powerslides are most definately for added drama, and.... in my books, he is still a "real" driver.

The way he drove the car is an hommage to when the first Ruf Yellowbird was filmed going around the Ring with the tires smoking and killing all track records.
