How do I: turn off the "return reciept 4 PM?

Since day one.. it has annoyed me. By default, it appears to be on. This means it is a setting on the forum admin area

Can we kill it? When it pops the screen, you have NO option of saying "NO" I don't want it.

I don't get this pop up window at all.

But the "message confirmation" pop up window drives me nuts.

When you send a private message, the system prompts you for a receipt or not option after each message.

I think this is what they are referring to.

I *thought* I was going to show you a screen shot, but it requires me to respond to a PM sent to me

"But the "message confirmation" pop up window drives me nuts"

He nailed it.

I'd like to see this forum have a little more traffic. I want to advertise here, but the speed of the site and some the little annoying issues with this version of the software is keeping people a way (from the Boxster people I have spoken with here in CA.) I certainly did not take a poll!!

I think the PM receipt issue is handled.

Try it if you like.

We are working on the speed issue.

YES!!! SWEET!!

Thanks for looking into the PM issue and nailing it. I'm sure it was a "tick" box somewhere in the "user manager" for PM's

Brad,
I'm glad you are happy. We'll continue to improve the site in an incremental fashion. Guess I'll just have to wait for you and the other CA boxster afficionados to beat the advertising door down.

Are you the contact guy for advertising? Jake said in another post that he had sent emails trying to contact someone about advertising.

Can you PM me the best way to contact you for advertising? I have a small parts business and the focus is Boxster's and Caymans.

"I'm glad you are happy."

The key is: I was never unhappy, but I'm rarely "quiet" unless it is a race weekend

Unlike a lot of other people I know, if something is bothering me, I speak up. I don't go around talking about it at every Porsche event to all my friends.. I'm finding out, most people won't speak up.
