new cross drilled / slotted rotors

what do you guys think?

i think they look awesome... They'd probably look/work better if they werent on backwards.... The slots have to chop into the air in order to PULL air into the slot channel and between the disc and brake pad... They arent made to Flare out the heat, the slots have to PULL in cool air.

oh sorry, Yes you have the right side on the left and the left on the right.

I performed my own little test on my non-ABS eclipse with a complete set of Brembo slotted/drilled rotors, they definatly worked better with the slots daggering into the air at the tip of the rotors, not fanning out air/heat.

You'll also notice a SLIGHT bit more of grip during normal braking conditions with the rotors installed the correct way.

trust me, you'll love it even more. When i replaced my rotors, i made sure to use a bit of sandpaper to knock off about 1-2 millmeters of somewhat glazed brake pad surface so the pad can reseat themselves to the new rotor discs.

The rears look like they are on right. What brand are those? Ive been only able to find drilled rotors.

They are zimmermen got them from Design Rotor Technology #978-454-0692 bought them on ebay $325 plus shipping around $350 total

Thank you I only put about 2000 miles a year on it its my baby and my wife thinks I have a problem. The wheels are at nrauto.com they have so many people wanting them that they had to enlarge their order I have been waiting for a couple of months they promised me I would have them no later than early Feb. I already have my tires. Oh, their called double spoke 19s in black.

Yeah thats them and their alot cheaper than the ssr's. I think they will look good with the white and being lowered.

I read somewhere that zimmerman rotor hats will rust if you don't mask them off and paint them before you install them. Did you treat the hats before you did your install?

Yes. If you get on ebay the seller is brakepros and their ebay store is design rotor technology they have 5 available $325.
