I agree with the 550 lights, Ive mentioned for a long time now that I wanted them, I just have other things id rather have first, lol. The clear headlights came in good shape, there are some scratches on them but I havent gotten around to polishing them yet. Its not too bad, but it needs to be fixed none the less. And I am done with the exterior after the skirts, the only thing I have been eyeing is the aerokit II wing, which im not saving up any money for, so we will see. Im saving up for the GT3 seats though...
Its been a long journey though...

Well from the looks of your ride - the journey was well worth it. Can't wait to see the skirts on her!

sweeeet, can't wait to see it with the side skirts.
yow do not buy the fancy lights....i made the mistake of buying blue/white blubs, and my lights on the inside are burnt. i've had the blubs in for about 2 years now, and at the end of the summer i noticed a yelllow tint on the inside. actually last night i went to buy some fancy blubs again...i figure fuc they're burnt anyways. if you look closely, the inside is actually melted. so try and stay close to stock watts.

I hardwired my V1 this afternoon. Took me all of 20 minutes without any hand tools except a tiny screwdriver which I only used to push the cord into the dash. I used this website http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/albur30 and it helped a lot, untill I tested my V1 and realized he mixed up his wires (or 996's are different) because for me the black and green wire was switched power. Its super easy to find the plug too, mine was tucked under the center console but I saw a tiny bundle of wires and pulled on it untill the plug popped up. I recomend it! My V1 is right beside the rear view mirror like that guys in the picture, but a little lower (level with the rear view mirror).

I dont know... mounting it up there for all to see, might not sit well with the local PD since they can see it clear as day.

Bog, looks good. Side skirts look really nice...very subtle. I like the de-badging on the rear trunk lid. Very clean look and adds a bit of mystery.
Why is the front hood emblem round? What is that?

No, I think my car was garaged everyday and none of the paint is faded in the least. When I had the GT3 bumper on it matched perfectly, and that was shot with straight black.

Boggtown, your car looks great. But, I like the Porsche crest better on the front trunk, IMHO. Sorry.

Ya, I totaly agree with you there. Its more of a setting it apart and being unique than a shear masterpiece, lol. I can always put the emblem back on if I want. I think it looks pretty slick and only diehard Porsche fans will notice, so I like that aspect as well.
